Carry the Light

Harper’s Light is not something that belongs only to a foundation.

It belongs to anyone who chooses to carry it.

You do not need to make a grand gesture.

You do not need recognition.

You simply need to make another person’s world a little brighter.

How can I be Harper’s light for someone today?

Be Kind

Notice someone who may feel alone.

Include someone.

Offer encouragement.

Be patient.

Forgive.

Listen.

Bring Joy

Make a child laugh.

Celebrate someone else.

Share something beautiful.

Create a happy memory.

Help

Give your time.

Support a family going through a difficult moment.

Volunteer.

Mentor a child.

Help without being asked.

Give Hope

Support research.

Encourage someone who is struggling.

Believe in someone.

Help create an opportunity that did not exist before.

Pass It Forward

When someone shows you kindness, carry it to someone else.

One act becomes another.

One person influences another.

That is how light travels.

No act of light is too small.

A smile.

A phone call.

A meal.

An invitation.

A gift.

A moment of patience.

A child feeling included.

A family knowing they are not alone.

The world changes through countless moments like these.

Love endures. Kindness carries the light forward.

Harper’s Day of Kindness

Each year on June 7, Harper’s birthday, we hope to invite our community to celebrate her life by doing something kind for someone else.

Not because kindness belongs to one day —

but because one day can remind us how we want to live the other 364 days.

More information about Harper’s annual day of kindness will be shared as the foundation grows.
